Danger Close Armament offers professional Glock barrel porting and Glock slide porting for shooters who want flatter recoil, faster follow‑up shots, and compensator‑like performance without extra length or bulk. Our Glock porting service is performed in‑house on CNC equipment and trusted by serious carry, competition, and duty users across multiple Glock generations. Choose our signature Chunk Porting Glock pattern for maximum gas venting and aggressive muzzle flip reduction, or opt for a more subtle inline look while still gaining real performance benefits.

Our Chunk porting features a large " Chunk" style opening in your barrel and slide. We relocate your Front sight behind the porting eliminating carbon fouling. by being at the very end of the barrel it ensures maximum leverage and thus effectiveness of the porting. We back bore the barrel to eliminate any potential bullet shaving

On pistols where chunk porting may not be an option or you don't want a shorter sight radius we offer our Stratos inline Porting featuring staggered inline ports down the spine of your barrel. we cut anywhere from 3 to 5 ports (depending on the length of your slide) as far forward closest to the front sight to maximize their effectiveness.  the porting includes both the barrel porting and a window to allow for the gasses to escape. please note if your Glock slide has a factory window (34,17L ect. We will cut the ports to line up with the factory window)

Compatibility

Our Glock barrel porting and slide porting service is available for the most common 9mm double‑stack Glock models, including G17, G19, G19X, G45, G47 and similar variants across Gen 1–5, V, and Gen 6 models. Porting is performed on OEM Glock slides and barrels to ensure proper fit, function, and durability; if you’re running an aftermarket slide or barrel, please contact us before ordering to confirm compatibility. Certain models such as the G42 and G44 are not currently supported for this service, and any exceptions or updates will be listed in the product options on this page.

Why Choose Our Glock Porting Service

When you send us your slide and barrel, you’re not getting a generic cut pattern—we design our Glock porting service specifically around how the pistol recoils, how gas vents, and how the gun will actually be used. Our goal is a Glock that tracks flatter, returns to target faster, and stays reliable with common defensive and training ammo. Every job is fixtured, cut, and deburred by experienced machinists, then inspected for clean edges, consistent port geometry, and proper sight alignment when applicable.

Key benefits:

  • Noticeable reduction in muzzle flip (ammo dependent)
  • Faster follow‑up shots and improved shot‑to‑shot control
  • Clean, functional port designs that complement your build
