1911/2011 Porting

Danger Close Armament is Proud to now offer barrel and slide porting for the 1911/2011 platform. Porting directs gases upwards helping reduce muzzle flip by up to 30% depending on type of ammunition used. 

Our Chunk porting features a large " Chunk" style opening in your barrel and slide. We relocate your Front sight behind the porting elimating carbon fouling. By being at the very end of the barrel it ensures maximum leverage and thus effectiveness of the porting. We back bore the barrel to eliminate any potential bullet shaving. 

Stratos inline Porting features staggered inline ports down the spine of your barrel. We cut anywhere from 2 to 4 ports (depending on the length of your slide) as far forward closest to the front sight to maximize their effectiveness.  The porting includes both the barrel porting and a window to allow for the gasses to escape.

Compatability

Note: Chunk porting is only available for 1911/2011s with Bull Barrels if your pistol has a barrel bushing you will have to select inline porting
